Massachusetts mandates that cosmetology students receive 1,000 hours in theory and practical experience. Students are allowed 100 hours of excused absences from the course.

 cosmetology classes

Day 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., one half hour lunch break
Classes: Monday thru Friday - making this a 7 hour day, 35 hours per week course of study.

Evening 6:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.
Classes: Monday thru Thursday - making this a 3˝ hour evening, 14 hours per week course of study.

Part-Time 9:00 a.m. - 12 Noon.
Classes: Monday thru Friday - making this a 3 hour day, 15 hour week course of study.

Mother's Hours 
Day 9:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., one half hour lunch break
25 hours weekly with completion in 10 months.

manicuring course

Massachusetts mandates students receive 100 hours in basic manicuring. Monarch’s program of study is 150 hours, 100 hours of basic manicuring and 50 hours in sculptured nails. Students are given a graduation date upon entering Monarch School of Cosmetology.
